So I had her friend kneel behind her with a soft box while my friend Jason lit her from the front with a MagMod Magsphere. Love the classic vibe.

IG: @ heroic.armor.works as Hal Jordan, Green Lantern. I hadn’t used this camera in a while, and the battery died. I recharged it, but my camera settings had reset, so my camera shot in JPEG instead of RAW. 😩 I was still able to edit it in Lightroom Mobile and add a glow to his power ring. 😅

From the archives, misselliehoneybee (currently on hiatus to enjoy her childhood) at Anime Los Angeles 2022. Her family and I shot in a thin strip of trees outside a parking garage (just 2 lights, one with CTO gel). This shoot truly showed me the transformative power of lighting in my photography.

Whilst photographing my nieces outside of their house, I spotted these flowers by the garage. Each flower is about the size of a penny, so the whole bunch is still quite small.

I had a lot of fun making this glow in the dark flower in Lightroom Mobile on my phone. I know I can do more with it in Photoshop, but it’s still a neat trick.

One of the houses in my neighborhood has a lineup of various garden gnomes along the short wall enclosing their front lawn. It sucks when someone is a dick and either breaks or steals one of the gnomes. But I do enjoy checking the wall to look for any new additions to the collection.

Waxing nostalgic about lenses at the moment… A fellow photographer bought the Sigma 60mm f/2.8 lens while traveling. I got the silver version of the lens off of eBay a few years ago but haven’t used it yet for cosplay photos. Might rectify that soon… So pretty.

This is one of my favorite pics from LA Comic Con, with IG @minakess as Captain Marvel. Using a tungsten color temperature setting on my camera and a CTO gel on my strobe (and the flash behind her), I got this awesome shot (with help from IG @wirelost.photo). Edited on iPhone with Lightroom Mobile.
