Funny that I stumble upon this today in my backup folders. Back in like 2017, I have tried to build my own Live2D avatar - it was essentially a rip off of "Experience BIJ Klingon". I am never showing it! It's cursed! Deleting it in the moment. A cool model debut in 4 days, tho.

Been working on a scene transition for OBS using shaders and it's been so cursed I moved prototyping to Unity to be able to better see all stages. Below is essentially a UV output that I want to use for sampling scene A or B pixels. Debut in 2 weeks. 😨

Today is the day when I finally ditch this Vtuber model and going on streaming hiatus for a couple of weeks to prepare OC debut. Debut date announcement today at the end - exactly at 21:00 CET.

Recently upgraded to a new GPU, so I started revisiting some older games. And while GhostWire: Tokyo has a lot of issues with its gameplay and mission structure, it is still such an impressive technical showcase.

This release reportedly ships SilentPatch and Fusion Fix, and none of us were contacted about this in advance (which isn't necessary as per the license, but would be nice). I KNOW that the holder of the Scarface license wasn't willing to re-release the game, so this is suspect.

In terms of graphics - MJ12 lab is one that bothers me the most. One of UE1's most "in your face" features was its usage of planar reflections. In the build showed off by Aspyr they are gone completely and there is still inconsistency between brushes that are suppose to use the same material type.

I have just rebuild coroutine storage in save system to properly store not only execution stack but also a value stack and I am very happy with myself, cause the save system now handles nested coroutine calls and properly returns to functions which called them 🫡

Unity frame limiter is inaccurate and it's not placebo; it affects games all over - the moment they use this in-built frame limiter, they are at a mercy of the Windows timer resolution (1ms) and they stutter. Special K increases the resolution to 0.5ms so it works better, but still far from ideal.

Strategy First remains one of the laziest publishers on Steam. Their digital release of Vera Jones on Steam contains MY translation that I have made 8 years ago - word for word, including the typos and bad grammar! It isn't illegal for them to do so, but they could at least send me a free copy.
