HRT update: no more night sweats or palpitations so sleeping GREAT, more energy and feel less tired, feel happier! I was worried about the lowering of lamotrigine efficacy but not so far 👍

Bought 2 pairs of work trousers (one blue, one black)when I went back to work in 2020 after last longer admission and lockdown. I’ve worn them pretty much every work day for 5 years. I’ve two new pairs arriving today. Nervous. I think I got the wrong size too so it will be depressing trying them on😆

It fills me with joy when I find the toadstools 🍄🥰

Porridge has gone all gut health and vagus nerve. Diligently going with it but I’m not sure.

The cat who doesn’t like the cat flap is happily using the cat flap this evening and I am so proud 😆

Cute cat things for today. Princess and the pea buried herself in a pile of duvets so just her eyes were peeping out. She looked a bit like Mary. They have learned how to open the drawer in my bedside cabinet where I keep the upstairs cat treats.

One of the cats when missing for hours today and it reminded me that my ability to catastrophise and rationalise my demise is second to none. Anyway, she’s back 🙈

It’s too early for a sat to be awake and I demand a refund 😆 It’s too early to mow the lawn and too early to go to dunelm and too early do even do anything outside as it’s still dark

Waiting for the washing machine to finish so I can go to sleep as the cat peed in the curtain 😆

It’s just a cold…I’m so rubbish at being poorly 🙈

Sitting in the carpark after a 2 hour drive for a 2 1/2 hour rehearsal and a 1 hour drive home feeling grim. Why do I do this? 😆 (Because I love it and will be buzzing afterwards). It’s almost a full days work after my full days work that actually started at 6:30 🤣

Have a mega headache which began at 2am and not loving this.

The cat came in to use the litter tray and then went out again 🙈

Got a magic bean. Ate it. Good job, as not had shields for AAAAAGES. Magic now.

Cat No.1 up and running with the microchip catflap, has been all over the garden, over a couple of fences 🙈 Friendly exchange with neighbour cat (sat opposite each other for 30 mins no hissing). Cat No.2 just occasionally sits by an open patio door on the inside 🤷‍♀️

The cats brought two toys into my bed over night which is very cute but worries me for when they are independently accessing outside and bringing ‘gifts’ to bed 😬😆

When you email for census data from 4 different countries (ok 2 are in one so 3 emails) and grapple with the numbers on the massive excel files to come up with the same figure you got when you did a quick google 🙈

Going to try and not let this spoil my last day of holls but had a little cry when I went for bloods. Saw that sticky diagnosis was in my records again 😢 So went back with the printout old surgery gave me and when I speak to GP next week will see what she says. Spilt coke on my moss collection too.

Got home at 12 after flying visit to see some favourites yesterday. Been in bed since 😆 Extremely randomly an ex from my 20’s called in at besties house while we were all there. He’s never done that before. Odd. He’s not in a good way which was sad.

I got changed 6 times today even though I’ve not left the house 😆

OMG I thought the most exciting thing to happen today was going to be getting my shower fixed (which was very exciting and I’m all clean) but JUDITH HERMAN JUST FLIPPIN REPLIED TO MY EMAIL. In like 2 hours. I thought I was going to faint 🤣

FINALLY cracked on with my book chapter. Involved creaking PhD thesis open for the first time in 15 years and it was like reading someone else’s book - it’s good! Is that normal or dissociation? Would you remember a book you spent 3 years writing? I’ve lost perspective about what’s normal 🤣

As I’m not going on spa day and I have no shower I’m off to the village hottub 😆

Bags all packed and on the motorway to visit favourites for spa tomorrow, tea with bro tonight and lunch with another favourite Fri but plans cancelled so back home via home sense and I’ll go at the weekend for quick visit instead. Couple of days at home to chill, decorate the house and write 🎃
