Oasis in Cardiff last night. Simply an incredible, out-of-body experience. Never known an atmosphere like it. The most joyous, life-affirming gig I’ve been to. Two hours of greatest hits. I don’t think it’ll ever be surpassed for me.

Went to see Sam Fender in London last night. He was sensational - a phenomenal talent. A poignant encore finished with Hypersonic Missiles. He referenced the line about kids being bombed in Gaza. Though the song was written in 2017, it has never been more relevant.

I voted for Milos Kerkez as my #afcb player of the season. There’s so many worthy contenders, including Christie, Zaba and Huijsen, but Kerkez has been consistently brilliant this campaign. He’s resilient, tenacious, combative and creative; the ideal modern left-back. A pleasure to watch.

Conor Bradley is a better right-back than Trent Alexander-Arnold. I will never understand the Trent hype. A very good footballer with tremendous vision, but that can’t disguise the fact that defensively, he’s a liability.

Football fans love to moan about VAR, but for all its faults, that Harry Maguire winner would’ve correctly been ruled out and nobody would’ve had any complaints. As it is, Leicester have every right to feel aggrieved. They’ve been robbed, through no fault of their own.

John Oliver is brilliant. He’s not really a household name in the UK (which is ironic, given that he’s British), but his ability to deconstruct complex issues with sharp wit is second to none.

I’m not convinced that any of the candidates in #TheApprentice is an actual human being.

There is absolutely nothing for which Trump and Musk will not blame diversity. Californian wildfires? It’s diversity’s fault. Washington plane crash? It’s diversity’s fault. Classic populism.
