Do games written in assembly have lower latency? Playing some SNES on real hardware and a CRT. While I know CRT's reduce latency, this beats modern games on a CRT in terms of latency as well. Games are like multitudes easier too when they are this responsive.

I've fallen in love with Windows... 7 Building a Windows 7 gaming machine out of old part and the OS is just incredible. It stays out of my way and just works. Driver installations are spotty though.

Not nearly as fancy as the attempted Cutscence tool we (mostly) got working in the past, but here is the much simpler brute force cutscene manager. We just manually plot it out by sequence and trigger the node when the cutscene needs to activate. There is text code above #godot #indiedev #gamedev
