Very much enjoyed the Innes Lloyd documentary. Fascinating to get a greater sense of his contributions. Particularly interested in his options about the relationship between producer and director.

I’m resurrecting my old ‘Watching Blake’s 7’ blog in a week or three, with a series of essays on the directors of #blakes7 Given the choice, who would you like to read about first?

It took me ages, but finally read @cutawaycomics.bsky.social Inferno prequel. I can now perfect the Stahlmann stare. Excellent stuff from Gary Russell, and John Ridgeway, who was ‘My Doctor’ in terms of comic strip, in the 80s. Great world building and poor old Harry Slocum.

Youngest daughter woke me up. Wanted to watch The Aristocrats. Bleary eyed, I enjoyed the resemblance to the beginning of Inferno part 1, with both The Doctor and Georges Hautecourt in a yellow car, singing a close approximation of La donna è mobile on arrival.
