Last coffee post of the morning - today’s brew is a Counter Culture subscriber exclusive and it’s delicious. I think a I’ve been drinking their coffee for 15+ years now as well! I even got to be a part of selecting them as the provider for NPR’s Coffee Club subscription back when I worked there!

Also, ignore the bed head but isn’t this coffee mug freaking amazing?! I call it my “memento mori” mug.

Is there anything like that first whiff of brewing coffee in the morning? I’ve been making pour overs of one sort or another everyday for the last 15+ years and it is truly my favorite part of the morning.

I’ve been slowly reading Francis Weller’s collection of essays titled “In The Absence Of The Ordinary” for the last month or so. It’s full of rich and thought provoking ideas. One that particularly resonates is this idea that grief and sorrow can be an apprenticeship we participate in. #booksky

I've got a new generator I built up at lastfmgenerator.tommyokeefe.com - it works like other generators by default but there's also a mode for approximating play time rather than track count. It takes some manual configuration but it's worth a shot!
