A look at my 2024 stats. Not my most productive year ever, but certainly not my least productive.

My mother-in-law sent presents for the boys. They are, of course, thrilled & I definitely didn’t have to bribe them with treats to get them to hold still long enough to get dressed & pose for pics. 😂😂

Experimenting with writing a short story & a novella. Considering my WIP word counts average about 150k, this is a real departure for me. 😬😬 #amwriting

Don’t know from where this originated, but I think I’ve found my new life’s philosophy.

Wrote a scene during the hurricane that didn’t sync because the power & internet was out & then didn’t sync after everything was back & is now apparently gone forever & I’m totally fine with it. So 🤬🤬🤬-ing fine.

We may not have power or internet, but fortunately the beer garden does…

I have to kill a darling today. Judging by how much I don’t want to do it, I suspect it will help the story immensely. #amwriting

I don’t know what my neighbors are doing, but the important thing is that it’s loud and taking for-freaking-ever to finish.

My friend’s muse: Hey! I thought of 20 new story ideas for you! I’m so excited to work on all of them! My muse: I helped you write, like, an entire sentence three month ago. What more do you want?
