I had the most glorious Mediterranean salad last night for supper. Today, I had a container of the toppings from that salad: bulgur with ground beef, tomatoes, onions, cucumber and a lemon garlic vinaigrette and I think that maybe the lettuce part of that salad was unnecessary 🤣

Anyone know anybody locally who makes mukluks or moccasins? Looking to treat myself 😅

Walked down Portland st today on my lunch break after picking up some gaming accessories for my step kids from the lost world game store. An older gent asked me if I knew where the TD went. It’s been gone for a while, but we talked about it, and the changes in dartmouth the last few years.

New hyperfixation is bulgur in my vinaigrette salads. I have eaten five salads with bulgur this week and will continue to do so next week until i dont want to see it for a while but my god i am obsessed at the moment.

In Labrador the last few days for work and man i love the barren lands. I could easily live up here. Isolated.

Just had a upper endoscopy with no sedation, that was neat 🤣

Waited over two years to see an allergist after reactions to three antibiotic families. Saw allergist (fantastic) in October and received multiple referrals to other specialists as she thinks I don’t have allergies but other things and now things are happening so quickly.

I missed a deadline at my job by a large margin. It affected a report going out. I submitted my official reason for missing it to my manager and planning department on Friday. I expected a rap on the knuckles.

FINALLY got a topical prescription acne medication to manage the acne I have been *struggling* with the last two years and I could honestly cry - I’m a week and a half in and it’s a game changer already.

When I was like 14 and very insecure, one of my close friends told me in the sweetest most genuine way that I had what she thought was the perfect cupids bow (upper lip). 24 years later and I still think about it every time I line or colour my lips - and I have loved my lips since that comment.

Test run for the Halloween costume. Made the horns and ears this evening after deciding I would indeed dress up for work tomorrow 😅

I have had an intense craving for lobster and crab legs for five days and ignoring it is not making it go away. Also I had scallops and shrimp and neither satisfied the craving. It’s wild how intense it is haha

Ten degrees in the bedroom tonight. Perfect.

I’m almost in disbelief that I managed to get a handful of really cute photos with my pups this afternoon. My gorillapod, a tree and my Apple Watch as a shutter remote. But aren’t we cute 🥺 I love them so much

I am in sensory hell today. The hair on the back of my neck, my socks, my pants, the racer back bra, the collar of my sweater, and now this damn seatbelt against my neck. I am not sure why all the choices were bad ones today but here we are

A near five month project has come to an end as I issued approval certificates today. The folks I dealt with are world class, and while it was a challenging task with language and geographical barriers, the feedback I received personally after issuing the approvals made me beam pretty hard.

I found some cool mushrooms near my house the other day. Google says they’re a Hares foot ink cap but I don’t trust google for mushroom IDs. Either way, they’re neat. Is Ben on this app? I miss his fungus posts.

Every time I am away from my dogs, no matter how much fun I’ve had/am having, I can’t wait to get back to my dogs. Soooooon, puppers. Sooon.

I had the most lovely walking tour around Toulouse this evening with my colleague + a number of folks I am working with here, and despite being overwhelmed with all the people-ing this week, my heart is so, so full. This city is so lovely.

Well, Montreal for 29 hours. I don’t have much motivation to do anything, at an airport hotel and kinda just wanting to watch Netflix for an evening. Hmmm.

Not sure why but I’ve had like +25 (legit) friend requests on Facebook the last week. I haven’t posted anywhere differently or done anything to draw attention. I have noted most of them are atv/motorcycle enthusiasts though haha.

So I’ve been eating cereal with yogurt since I was a kid. I’ve also always topped my waffles and pancakes with yogurt. I usually add berries and/or fruit. I get a lot of raised eyebrows. I fortunately don’t care. But is this really that uncommon?

Doin some things that make me happy.

I think I want to get back into some photography. I miss all of the things I did to keep my mental health afloat.
