I received so much love on my fic 😭 I figured I'd only get 2 or 3 reads at most, but these numbers far surpassed that and I am beyond grateful. This is super exciting, because while I had fully planned on writing this story regardless, I now have an audience eagerly waiting for the next chapter 😭

Let it be known that I enjoy writing deliciously fluffy and tender moments, before ripping it out of the writhing hands of the reader and make both them and the character suffer. It's just what I enjoy 😇 Don't worry tho I only write fics with happy endings, so you at least have that to hold onto!

Almost 6k words. Only now am I at a quarter of the way through the outline for the chapter. Whoops! Hope y'all like long fics! I'm trying to stay at or below 10k words per chapter. I don't know that that will happen with this one though lol. Should I just bite the bullet and split the chapter?

I'm at 4,500 words for chapter 2 of my fic so far. But I am not even 1/4 of the way through my bullet points for this chapter. I may have to split this chapter up. I try to keep my words at 10k per chapter so as to not be too overwhelming. Guess we will have to see what happens!

I was so hype for Sonic Racing, and I know it's called "Crossworld" but man, SpongeBob? Really? Kinda killed my hype for the game tbh. And I know there are people excited about this, and it's really just a me thing, and it's a paid DLC so I don't HAVE to get it. But still. I just hate SpongeBob.

4,017 words now, and I didn't even type any more to the story. Rather I went back and added some additional descriptors and changed the wording on some things to make more sense. Yeehaw. Aiming for that ever elusive 9,000 word mark. Think I can pull it off? We'll see!

Man I haven't felt so much enjoyment in my life as I have writing this fanfic in probably a decade. Even if I end up deciding not to post it on AO3, it doesn't matter to me. I've been having fun writing it, and that's the important part. Anyway up to 2,756 words and just barely halfway through it.

Did I just decide last minute to include Lanolin in my Sonic fanfic? Yes I did. Does she play an important role? Not right now but I may write her to have one! Why did I add her? Because I adore her and think she deserves more love. Plus this role really suits her >:)

Finally sitting down and fleshing out the timeline of events for my fan-fic. It takes place after the end of Sonic Prime*, using the term "after" loosely here, from the POV of Shadow. *Highly recommend watching all of Sonic Prime before reading though not super necessary for the story I am telling.
