A little overview of using #transform attribute to precisely control #sweep in #houdini. Just used sweep to model some organic stuff and dove a bit into the mechanics of it. Sweep is actually aware of many attributes, like trans, rot, orient, etc. So you have plenty of options, just read the docs :)

Working on this nice little thing for my local #Obsidian based #projectmanagement. Still #wip but I love it already. This is an interactive chart in Obsidian based on the time-tracking data pulled from #ActivityWatch. Data filtered by timespan and keywords, granular enough to isolate any job track.

I still prefer to build all the main stuff in SOPs and then shape it however I want in #Houdini #Solaris. Here's my recent snippet to quickly move materials from SOPs to #LOPs. To make it work copy over the materials into a Mat library and set the shop_materialpath as Partition attribute. (alt txt)
