delia's mom named her that intending it to be pronounced 'deal-ee-uh' but somehow the pronunciation of 'dell-ee-uh' stuck. her mom continues to pronounce it the way only she prefers. i wish i could figure out a way to convey that in comics without the use of an authors note, or phonetic spelling lol
