Submitted a script to my producers today that I began in Feb 22. I worked my❤️out for a year & submitted what I thought was a final draft in Feb 23. Then they said, what if your antagonist was your protagonist? That note broke both me & the script, but it also remade us, better. #screenwriting

Listen, if you can't be bothered to take the time to do something as simple as check your spelling & formatting before you submit a script, then you are telling the reader that you don't take a pride in your work, & that your script, possibly, isn't worth taking the time to read. #screenwriting

About to wrap up a script journey of 20 months and incalculable rewrites, but boy am I pleased with the end result. It's been such a great experience. I've learned and grown vastly as both a writer and a human. Pushing through and applying the difficult notes has been so worthwhile. #screenwriting

TYPICAL WRITING SESSION: Sit down. Open project on laptop. Check social media. Play with dog. Sandwich time. Write a mediocre sentence. Loo break. Play a video game to destress. Nap. Research stuff that has nothing to do with the project. Type a bit more. Delete it. Snack time. #Screenwriting
