Happy 100th Birthday, 'Wozzeck'! Yesterday was the 100th anniversary to the day of the premiere of Alban Berg's 'Wozzeck', which would eventually become a landmark for contemporary opera and opera history. It was a challenge, but I loved getting to sing Marie at the Met during the 2019-20 season

Happy World Opera Day! The sensation that comes over us when we hear something really inspiring and beautiful sung by a human voice- it has a visceral effect on our nervous system. And I think that makes World Opera Day worth celebrating. 💗
