It was brilliant to get out over the weekend to take part in the #GreatUKWaterBlitz for the Earthwatch Institute to monitor nitrate & phosphate levels in our freshwater habitats. Joining in with citizen science projects is SO important. Looking forward to doing it all again in September 🌍

Have been really enjoying reading this lovely book, and learning some winter words ❄️ My favourite of this evening is 'foxing day', which is a day when the weather turns out much better than expected.

A goal for this year is to get outside every single day, in whatever form, for whatever reason and whatever the weather. Just outside. Today's sunny exploration led us to a giant redwood standing loud & proud in a local park. I don't think I've seen so many birds in one tree before 🌲☀️🐦
