Neuer Markt am Südstern is one of my fav farmers market in #Berlin (not that we have too many, leider): nice Kiez atmosphere, decent produce, good options to eat on the spot & okay-ish prices for regional veggies& I don’t need to sell half of my kidney for 1 kilo of carrots, like in the Kollwitz one

Belle & Sebastian last night in Metropol #Berlin was a charming concert (way better than I’ve expected it to be). Listening to all the songs from their “If you’re feeling sinister” record, being played live in a rather intimate setup , brought back lots of memories

I liked a lot “How to get to heaven from Belfast” created by the wonderful Lisa McGee who made the amazing “Derry Girls”. Yup, I always love a good Irish banter.

David Byrne’s concert last night in #Berlin has been a much needed dose of optimism. Or as he said it: “Love and kindness are punk. They are nowadays a form of resistance”. His show has been next level in comparison to the one he did 10 yrs ago in #Berlin in the same venue (that one was great, too)

Kubaneh: a traditional Yemenite Jewish pull-apart bread (similar texture to a brioche inside, crunchy on the outside), served with a beetroot dip which had a sumac topping & with labneh (strained yoghurt) and zhug (hot green sauce, a staple in Yemeni cuisine). #Berlin #dinner

Anna von Hausswolff’s concert last night in Huxleys #Berlin made this January more bearable. What a voice. What a lovely atmosphere.

Last night in #Berlin I’ve watched Ingmar Bergman’s “Scenes from a Marriage” in cinema (first time was 24yrs ago) & can vouch the movie passed the test of time in terms of dysfunctional relationships. After the movie, main actress Liv Ullmann was present for a little talk. That was emotional.
