Keeping the pencil moving… a quick sketch

I haven’t drawn in a while… I feel rusty!

It is always wonderful when people send you photos of your work out in the wild. “Six Buddha” in the Governor‘s office in Dover.

There were a lot of questions about the shapes that show up in my paintings… sometimes it is just math and sometimes it is a secret… here is a good example. Extra points if you recognize the shape!

During tonight’s class we had a live model. I spend most of the time walking around helping the students, but sometimes I try and whip something out as the seconds run out.

Tomorrow during Wilmington’s Art loop the show is open to the public, 5-7 and then every Saturday in October from noon to 2pm.
