Stayed up for the State of Play last night and it was pretty solid! Nothing really jumped out as overly hype (except maybe Belmont's Curse?) but it was just mostly a bunch of #neat stuff all around I don't think we needed another trailer for Pragmata and RE9 though

Yeah this movie's still really great It's got some cringy "Hollywood humor" here and there but there are a lot of good bits too And despite it all I really love the message the movie gives about creativity and the potential within each of us And in general the third act just rocks in every way

Finally tried out the demo for Demon Tides A really fun platformer, love the idea of these islands being different mini-levels Wind Waker style My only real issue is that you have to use the left stick in the menus, just let me use the d-pad plsssss 😭

Finally back on this, and this season was just as good as I remembered I admit some episodes feel a bit rushed and/or badly paced but there are some real bangers in here, including probably my favorite episode in the whole show And I love love love Batgirl, she's so much fun

A really fun game, definitely a step up from the NES duo! Unfortunately I do feel like the dungeons take a bit of a nosedive in the second half of the game as they get more confusing and tedious to navigate, I hate the switch puzzles in Face Shrine and Eagle's Tower soooooo much

2026 Media Thread

You know what, since I probably won't be making this into a video this year, I thought I'd cook up a thread of my Top 10 favorite games I played in 2025 Basically these games can be from any year ever, just as long as I first played it in 2025 So here we go!

So 2025 was uh, not the greatest of years This year perhaps more so than any other year in recent memory, felt incredibly stagnating, both in my personal life and my Youtube channel Add on top of that a very sudden family tragedy and yeah, this year was not that great!

Oh yeah it's been almost an hour since the day turned over here so uh Happy New Year!

Really good, I liked it way more than I thought I would! I think what really carries this movie for me is the main character, he's such a genuine person and while it leads him to do a few "stupid" things, you can clearly see his heart is in the right place

For the final watch of the year I'll actually watch another new movie for once

Great movie! In terms of the TMNT movies I've actually seen I think this is my least favorite (so far) because the pacing is kinda wack and some of the characters don't really get to shine as much as others but overall it's still really good

Rewatching some Turtles for a late Christmas watch

This is my "goated 7/10" tbh Phantasia is a very rough game in many areas and you could argue it's not that good to begin with, but it's carried immensely by its vibes and the charm of the world and the characters

A generational manga tbh, they simply don't make em like this anymore There was a point around the middle after the stuff the anime adapted ends where I kinda wasn't feeling it as strongly anymore but it came back swinging
