Some years ago I became hyperfixated on Japanese woodworking thanks largely to this book by Toshio Odate. I made a toolbox out of hemlock and alder. based on the design in the drawings. Lots of new stuff for me! A live edge feature, compound angle cuts, ship lap joinery, and clenched nails!

Show and tell of a little project I did this weekend. Drew myself a pixel art boombox to display the currently playing music for livestreams. Do you like the 90's era cartoons color palette? The spectrogram is from VLC and briefly shows the title and artist. No fancy just a lil creative!

Only in the last year have I been brave enough to try ✨🌷Girlie Games🌷✨(esp. Nancy Drew and HOG’s). It’s a major perspective shift! In many games the only path forward is obliteration via guns and swords. Instead here we get to solve puzzles, discover truths, and sometimes dress cute!

Finished✨ This was so fun to make! A while back I drew a portrait of Sam Campbell, and, while nice enough, it didn't ever really feel finished to me. So I set it aside to think about/come back to later. Well! I started poking at it again a week or so ago and here we are!
