I threw an accidental vase at pottery last week. Tonight I brought it home and attempted carving for the first time! I love that it kind of looks like a morel mushroom at this stage. I’m excited to glaze this one and see how the glaze works with the texture! #pottery

I biked to pottery tonight. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and the frogs were making their frog noises. I threw some pots that turned out pretty good, actually, and caught the sunset and the moonrise on the way home. Returned home to supper made by my partner. Life is good. 💛✌️

A bike ride to the new office today took me down a section of the SW Transitway in #Winnipeg. Our bike infrastructure is far from perfect but I love how smooth, quiet and chill this part of the ride is!

I procrastinated changing a tube in the rear tire of my IGH bike all winter, and honestly…I feel justified in that b/c it was much harder than a bike with a derailleur. Anyway, I did it today, but not without lots of swearing. Special thanks to @paulallen.bsky.social for pics and moral support. ❤️
