Here's how you can easily upgrade your workouts

I used to overdo it but now I train abs 3x / week at the end of workouts and always do 2 exercises that cover different parts

It's scary for some so I'd always suggest a more normal alternative, too and let them choose

Do whatever you want but keep this in mind

Do whatever you want - just consider this and don’t only watch the first few seconds

Keep trying while I speak - especially if you’re not feeling it yet. To make it easier, do a tiny movement that mimics how you’d use that muscle in a real exercise.

Finish your exercises strong by slowing the negative - on your last set, lower the weight through a 5-second descent, but only if every rep stays clean.

More important than symmetry or perfection

Same with “asking for a date” - I don’t. I’d rather say: I want to go / see / try out x - join me if you like. (Unless there already seems to be really strong chemistry - then I might risk asking them more romantically)
