Working on this novel… book two of a trilogy… feels like a boxing match. I spent a bunch of time on the ropes, trying to find a way out of the middle bit then it all fell into place and then I began to starting punching and swinging and now it is like the last round of a 2004 welterweight bout.

Working on novel number two and it just took a twist even I didn’t see coming!

Does seem like tonight is the last truly warm night for walking the dog around the lake. Winter is coming. But not yet.

Gotta be honest I am starting to sour on Netflix. The amount of shows that are reasonably good that I invest in for one or two seasons which they cancel is effing annoying. See The Waterfront, Mindhunter. Why would anyone trust that a show will be around for a second series and invest the time?.

Maybe it’s the glistening water, the warm mountain air or the gallons of prosecco, but this place is pretty conducive to resolving plot holes.
