Late off the mark this month after the challenges at work…but October’s calendar photo is Cannero, on Lake Maggiore, in Northern Italy, taken during my autumn 2024 visit

Monday has, by and large, been a rather wet day! Still atmospheric but wet!

Today has been a little moist…

Sunday is market day in Cannobio. The day starts with a moody feel over Lake Maggiore - storms are in the forecast later

Saturday! A self created itinerary for a day out in Lugano! Starting with a 9am ferry to Luino, which connects onto a Swiss Postbus to Ponte Tresa

And off - the annual trip to Cannero is underway, starting with a flight to Milan Malpensa, and a journey by train, ferry and bus!

Anyone got a brolly? The Grumman Turbo Firecat at #sanicole last weekend - amazingly this aircraft started life as carrier based submarine hunter!

As last weekends airshow was in Belgium, local fare was sampled!
