most of my favorite bands through high school were roughly ~15ish years older than me, squarely in the Xoomer bracket. when i was turning 40 i was totally cool with the notion they were all mid-50s... still vigorous and youthful to me. now *i* am mid-50s and they are turning 70 and i'm horrified.
