Just another casual Sunday, contemplating if I should give up writing. Think I need to disappear for a minute and recalibrate.

Another day, another draft of a short story. Idk, man. Writing, without a plan, for the sake of letting the mind take over narrative control, just feels right. #writing

Long walk through Toronto today to make some pictures. I can’t believe I caught the first one. What a thrill it is learning and experiencing joy through a new art form.

I can be pretty good at catastrophizing but I hear the sound of a vicious, echoing bell; one that shrieks of a future where Trump decides invading Canada is a good excuse to suspend all elections.

This is where their "AI" stems from, btw. This is their attempt to turn the act of creation into an automated assembly line that punishes a person who does something they can't. They have two goals: to be liked, to be creative. Failing that, they made a blow-up doll to tell them they're good enough.

My brother just got a black Cane Corso puppy and, I'm taking pictures now - the great irony being that the script I'm most known for is about a photographer who goes insane when he's attacked and relentlessly pursued by a vicious black dog. Did I preemptively write my own biopic? Time will tell.
