A deluxe edition of @ryannorth.ca and Albert Monteys' adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five is coming in October. This is one of my favourite comic book adaptations. It captures the Tralfamadorian perspective, unspooling a character's life on the page.

I find reading literary criticism more satisfying than reading the novels or poetry being criticised. Lately, I have started reading criticism of works I've never even read. Absolute joy. But possibly not what the authors wanted.
