And yes… we were playing DnD in a tent. Quite possibly the most fun place to play DnD other than a castle.

The new DnD Starter Set (thanks @Wizards_DnD) is really cool. The maps are great and the the set comes with so many tokens, monster cards, spell cards, and equipment cards. It makes it really easy to start playing and combines DnD with board game style play which is a blast. 1/4

This came from WotC today and the wyrmling is bouncing off the walls ready to run it for me. I will let you guys know how it goes.

Conversations with the 8yo DM: Me: Is there any cover nearby to avoid another blast of dragon breath? 8yo DM: There are some large barrels on one side of the dragon’s lair that could provide some cover. Me: I hide there. 8yo DM: Unfortunately, they’re filled with gunpowder.
