11th game beaten: Pragmata. My work schedule changed to 4 10s while I was playing this and adjusting to my new schedule meant I haven't been playing a lot of games, but I finally sat down to finish this one. A great game, highly recommended. #blutoid

I like Final Fantasy 7 and Street Fighter, so today has been a pretty good day. #blutoid

So Dragon Quest 12 had to restart development and also is going to have Beyond in its name. Hopefully it will have a better reception than the last game that did that #blutoid

With how many emails Walmart sent me about how this was delayed I was expecting it next month and definitely not on release day. #blutoid

Went to a big writers conference today with @boxman214.bsky.social. It was a pretty good time, though one of the presentations that we both happened to be at was mind numbingly boring. All the rest that I went to were pretty great and I'm excited to write for the first time in a while. #blutoid

I ordered the Yoshi game from Walmart since they price match to the digital price, and have gotten 5 identical emails in the last two days about how it has been delayed. Either they've been relying a bit too much on AI coding, or that package has been really delayed. #blutoid

Luigi just rejected Samus's love confession because he has a crush on Frieren. In other news, Zelda fell in love with my mii at first sight, which seems off because I am a hairy monster and not a lovable twink like who she usually goes for. #blutoid

10th game beaten: Pac-Man World Re-Pac. Finally got this one off of my backlog. It's fun enough, but I never played it as a kid so I had no nostalgia for it. I do however have loads of nostalgia for the sequel, so I'm excited to play that one. #blutoid

I've added a few more Miis and then when I added Ina to my island she immediately fell in love with Miku at first sight. Literally the first thing she did. #blutoid

9th game beaten: Skyrim. This is the first time I've ever actually beaten the main quest line in this game. I always got distracted and did other things, but I've finally finished it. It only took 540 hours on steam and who knows how many in the PS3 and Switch versions. #blutoid

8th game beaten: AI Limit. This is a pretty decent souls like. I had a lot of fun with it, and I think its strongest feature is the level design. It hides its secrets well, and none of those secrets are hidden behind fake walls. #blutoid

Was playing Pokemon XD on NSO and was about 6 hours into the playthrough when the app crashed and deleted my save data, so that's awesome #blutoid

7th game beaten: Super Mario Galaxy. I very nearly beat the game on the plane home from Japan. Finally felt well enough after recovering from the jet lag to sit and finish it. Man the ending to this game is weird (for a Mario game) #blutoid

Sixth and final full day in Japan. I went to the Hololive Expo today, so that is going to be basically all the pictures. I go home tomorrow so this will be the last thread for my trip. #blutoid

Got some ramen in Shibuya. It was heavenly.

The first thing we saw when we got out of the train station in Shibuya was a Star Wars/ Marvel pop up store, so we explored it a bit.

I spent most of today hanging out in Shibuya. It was really cool to see these stores that you can visit in games like Persona 5 and The World Ends With You.

I got to ride a crowded train in Tokyo. According to my Japanese friend who was showing me around today this wasn't crowded at all since we came at a good time.

Across the street from my hotel is this Hatsune Miku store. I don't know what these people were lining up for, but man that line was long.

I got momentarily excited until I saw the price tag. Then I realized I can probably still play this legit if I want, and yeah, my old save is still there and working. #blutoid

6th game: Bubsy in Fractured Furry Tales. This game is so bad. They took away all the improvements from Bubsy 2 and made the game even more jank and annoying than the first game. I am baffled at how big a step back this was. #blutoid

When marketing Tomodachi Life on 3DS, Nintendo held a contest on Twitter for the game, a contest I somehow won. I didn't actually win the game, I won a 3DS XL. So it's safe to say Tomodachi Life has a special place in my heart and that I am very excited for this one. #blutoid

5th game beaten: Bubsy II on the Gameboy. This is the only game the Bubsy Collection warns you about and recommends skipping, so obviously I had to try it out. It's obviously bad, but nowhere near what I was expecting given the warning to stay away. I'mma ramble about it below. #blutoid

4th game beaten: Bubsy II. This one is interesting as they legitimately improved on the original Bubsy in a lot of ways. It controls better, you can take four hits instead of one, and you can use a gun. Not joking. It's a lot better, but still just an okay game. #blutoid

3rd game beaten: The first Bubsy game on the SNES. I may have bought the Bubsy Collection. With Bubsy 4D looking like it'll actually be pretty good, I wanted to play the trainwrecks that led up to it. This one isn't bad so long as you have rewind. It would be awful without it. #blutoid

Saw the AI generated trailer for City of the Wolves and I can't imagine something killing my excitement faster than that. I was going to buy season 2 before they did that, not touching it anymore. #blutoid

2nd game beaten: Groove Coaster: Future Performers, with a caveat that the game somehow isn't finished yet. I didn't know this when I bought it, but I got to a certain point in the story and it opens up the next chapter and then tells me that chapter is coming soon. That doesn't feel nice. #blutoid

1st game beaten in 2026: Kirby and the Forgotten Land + Star Crossed World. I started a new game once I got the DLC and have been slowly chipping away at it every once in a while. It was a good time, but I wish the final boss had been more interesting. #blutoid

I'm sitting here looking at my Steam library wondering what I should play to start the new year and I scroll past Skyrim and sigh. Dang it Todd! #blutoid

24th and last game beaten in 2025: Super Metroid. Its been a long time since I've played this one, so I got lost and and missed a bunch of stuff. The controls haven't aged the best, and I would love for it to be brought up to Dread's control standard, but even so the game is amazing. #blutoid

Do you think the devs of High Guard saw Concord flopping harder than any other game in history while their own hero shooter was in development and maybe got a little nervous? #blutoid

23rd game, you guessed it, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. I absolutely no-life'd this game, playing every moment I had available. I really enjoyed it, but it has some obvious flaws. I think 8/10 is a perfectly fine score for it. I'll probably ramble spoilery things below. #blutoid

22nd game beaten: Metroid II: Return of Samus. You didn't think I would stop at Zero Mission did you? I've never actually beaten the original Metroid 2 on GameBoy, so I'm glad I finally did. I probably won't be able to finish Super before Prime 4 comes out... probably. #blutoid

21st game beaten: Metroid: Zero Mission. I might be getting excited and playing other Metroid Games. Maybe. Also I started playing it the day before NSO asked you to play it so you could get the icons. What great timing. #blutoid

20th game beaten: Kirby Air Riders. Got the true ending and unlocked all the characters and machines. I still can't believe that this game exists, I love the original game so much and this one is almost everything I could have wanted. (The almost is because no Adeleine). #blutoid

19th game beaten: Pokemon Legends: Z-A. I really enjoyed the game despite all the very obvious flaws. They really like fading to black and implying something happened. Even simple things like knocking something over is a fade to black. #blutoid

Kirby Air Riders played how I wanted and expected it to. I love having 16 players in a city trial, and getting into a game was fast and easy. I can't wait for the full release. #blutoid
