First viewing, so my theory is still a bit underbaked, but I think you can read "The Entity" as a meta commentary on A.I. screenwriting. The way it can predict probable outcomes, like who will betray it and why, feels like a dig at how A.I. can't create anything new and only regurgitates cliches.

In the opening of the movie XXX there's a stand-in for James Bond who gets killed trying to infiltrate a Rammstein concert to show how outdated and unhip he is. Which in retrospect is hilarious, because now it's XXX that is horribly dated, while Bond has had 5 movies since with a reboot on the way.

Working my way through the Craig Bond movies, and started with a double feature. I think Quantum works best as an epilogue to Casino, than as a stand-alone movie. It's short, and is mostly a collection of action sequences strung together by a basic revenge plot. It's Bond as a DTV actioner.

Am I the only one that actually liked Birds of Prey? I mean, it's probably the best showcase for Robbie's Harley Quinn out of all her appearances in the DCEU, and it's just a fun, punk rock, girls night out in Gotham type of movie. It's not trying to be like THE DARK KNIGHT or anything.

I liked this one more than Glass Onion, which I didn't hate, but felt like it wasn't as good as the first. I still think that is the best of the three, but they each have their charm.

These late career Liam Neeson geezer teaser action movies tend to be hit-or-miss, with more misses than hits, but I find this one to be kind of an overlooked gem among them. It has a great cast, with Ed Harris, Vincent D'Onofrio, and even Nick Nolte shows up to growl his way through a scene.
