Some people have weird hang-ups when it comes to superhero movies, like the one's now complaining about Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson being cast in The BATMAN II because they were already in the MCU.

If you've never watched Dawn of the Dead (1978) in black & white, I highly recommend it. Not only does it help make it feel more like a cohesive piece with Night of the Living Dead, but the movie takes on a whole other vibe. With a much darker tone, and visually more expressionistic in places.

This is probably what it'll be like when it finally happens. The whole world watching in relief that it's finally over as Hillary loads his bloated orange carcass into a wood chipper...

I had some of these when they came out. I made a playset of the pit stage by hammering some nails through a plank of wood, and suspending another one over it using paper towel tubes as the pillars. My Mom threw it away when my little brother cut himself on a nail and needed a Tetanus shot.

Did the double feature, and yup, they're still just fun pulpy adventure serials. If I have an issue with Legend though, while the movie itself is fine, it feels like the third story in a trilogy. They jumped from Batman Begins to The Dark Knight Rises, but we never got The Dark Knight in-between.

What's interesting about watching BATMAN FOREVER now in 2026, is that The Riddler's whole plot is about a loser who reinvents himself as a tech billionaire, only to create a device that steals everyone's data so he can become all powerful.

It's disappointing that they haven't been able to make Knight Rider work as an IP since the 80's, because it's basically just Batman without the costume. A guy driving around in a high tech car, with a cool theme tune, fighting crime. It even has "knight" in the title.

A fun mashup of Western/Kung Fu movies in the tradition of Big Trouble in Little China (exceptional sidekick saddled with a blustering fool for a lead) that's only flaw is repeatedly using that dumb Kid Rock song as it's signature needle drop in 2026.

Since they're now just making solo movies/series based on Batman villains, how about a Ra's al Ghul movie in the spirit of Highlander. We could see his origin, and him battling various worthy rivals throughout the centuries before eventually meeting Batman. I'd watch it.
