Honestly, even with looking over my initial thoughts about #CountdownOnPrime, I'm still surprised it got canceled. If the biggest company in the States can't make a show like this work, I'm not sure that says anything good about the state of the industry.

I really enjoyed the story, characters, and action of #Trigger on @netflix. However, I do think the intended message and themes got a bit muddled when the legitimately downtrodden and abused people managed to get justice denied them through violent means and guns. Season 4 of the CW family/legal drama, #FamilyLaw, is more of the same as past seasons. However, I will give credit to any original scripted series that makes it past season 2. Bring back television! Oh, and the show ends on a pretty funny cliffhanger that hopefully leads into season 5. 3.5/5⚖️

Based on a true story, #ThePenguinLessons is a heartwarming story about a broken, disillusioned man who finds purpose, joy, & life again with the help of a lost penguin, a classroom of young students, & the lives of Argentinian people during a great crisis. A bit sanguine, but not too bad. 4/5🐧

Won't go as far as to say it is a generic horror film, but #TheTwin doesn't really add much to even its niche genre outside of maybe having a father be the focus of a grief/trauma possession instead of the usual classic "mom." Watched #RoadGames, a French action thriller about a man who finds a lost woman seemingly being chased down by a pair of psychological killers. However, not all is as it seems, & he quickly finds himself in a fight for survival. Decent flick. Twist was pretty telegraphed though. 3/5🦵

This question probably applies to so many plots concerning #Wednesday, but, genuinely, what was the point of Bruno? He was barely on screen, didn't really contribute to anything, & only served to break up Enid & Ajax, which could've been done just as easily without him.

One of the clearest demonstrations of how bad the writing actually is on #Wednesday is how the "sins" of the Addams Family that they have to suffer/make up for is them being attacked/manipulated by a sociopath & defending themselves. This has literally been a plot point in both seasons.

I half expected #Kill to be some sort of Indian John Wick, and in some ways, it was. However, the fights seemed way more choreographed and telegraphed without the subtlety and flow of most martial arts flick. Plus, there's a lot more good guy deaths. Overall, it's still a solid action flick. 3/5🚉

I am glad that Samara Weaving is expanding her repertoire beyond horror, but her best, so far, is still very much in that genre. #EenieMeanie is a decent action crime flick in which Weaving is very much the highlight. She shows range. Not bad, but I fully get why it was direct to streaming. 3/5🚘

While I enjoyed watching #Nobody2 in theaters, the sequel, unsurprisingly, is more of the same with a bigger budget.
