They fear having to make a better game. What they crave is a cycleof repetition. Good preservation circumvents the cycle. Remakes and remasters which fundamentally change games (even something as simple as a jump mechanic) enable the cycle. You could playgames made before 2005 and never run out.

I know it's been said a hundred million times already, but I'm astounded. The feed has no algorithm. It's just... people. Art, nature, general kindness, and people passionately sharing the things they're interested in... It feels like exactly what I hoped to accomplish with my YouTube channel...

Well, my oh my, it's been a tiny bit since I hopped back here. I genuinely feel bad, because I want there to be a proper competitor to the toxic cesspit Twitter's become. Think it's time I promote this more.

Twitter has gone completely tits-up on my end. One account gets every image post flagged for no reason, but my other accounts see no flag or anything. I hate the idea of starting over, since so very few are willing to follow me here or anywhere else, but I might have to.

It seems I've finally made it to bsky. Welp. Time to make it everyone's problem! (I kid. I promise to be good.)
