Playing around with headlight design, started laying some bits out in CAD and superimposed the current draft over a picture I took where I superimposed my air dam. I think there's potential 🐶

Got the spoiler mounted up today, and modified the hatch some so I can actually attach it. It kind of sucks to install but at least I shouldn't have to do that often. Bonus drawing in the dirt on the T-Top 🐶

Made fair progress, the hatch is flattened, seam sealer removed and checked for any hidden rust, and it just needs to be drilled for the spoiler to mount on! One more thing off the list!

Oops got to thinking about unconventional door mechanisms and now it's gremlin hours again..

Got the patch body worked pretty fair on the second door, and also got the wiper hole plugged up on the hatch! Still need to finish the metalworking on that a bit. Still lots of cleanup to do on some parts, but getting very close to being ready to apply primer to the loose bits!

Really been struggling with a lot of things lately, too much on my mind I guess. Having a hard time finding the motivation and the time to work on the projects I enjoy. Been playing a fair bit of Arc Raiders though, so I guess there's that? Just gotta keep the chin up. It ain't always easy.

It was a busy weekend for dog time! A very good friend wanted a hand getting their car back together from some valve train work. We got it sorted in fair time, and it runs again! That said, I know for certain I will be a very sore creature tomorrow haha.

Had my work cut out for me on this door. Lower edge had a gross bend in it, there was a dent that was just ground out and filled, and the sealant from the vapor shield was extremely tough to clean up. Most of the dents are sorted now, and now I gotta clean up the rest of the door!

Got the left side jamb sorted, pretty happy with it. Also got the outside of the left door cleaned off so I could see what I was working with, there's a few trouble areas in there.

Pizza break

Reinforcement is welded in with its captive nut, and it's nice and smooth! Just gotta do the other side the same now.

Very slow start today. But dog time is underway! Making reinforcement plates with some captive nuts for the door checks, to be followed up by filling in and smoothing the weird hole left by the old strap.

Finally spent some time, and got the R35 door checks fitted on the car! Works great, just need to add a bit to the rubber end stop since this door doesn't open as far.

Garage is much tidier, so I can finally get to work on this thing again. Never enough time though!
