Sure, but this game went against the narrative of this season, which is that, in contrast to the previous two, they're building towards something rather than being shrinking violets. They're becoming contenders. But tonight was their shrink game. They just freaking folded. Indefensible effort.

Can't say worst necesarily, but most un-serious, unprofessional loss of this Nuggets season. Sure, AG & CB are out, but, um, Wemby too. On the balance, especially at home in a Cup game that the players should have given a crap about, they just punked out. Embarrassing, really.

Conspiracy theory would be: Nuggets just don't want that extra Cup game. But reality is: Nuggets just sometimes phone in their GAF-ness and crap out. And that's not championship shit.

Sorry people who love people killing people, but I hate the jingoism in American professional sports.

This is the kind of thing that people who think the #Nuggets "lost" the Cam Johnson for Michael Porter Jr. trade don't grasp. Here, Cam misses his 3 (& yes, he's lower % than MPJ), but after the rebound, he keeps the play alive and dishes to Jonas Valanciunas for a better shot.

This kind of play is a good indicator of Peyton Watson's growth. Instead of taking the contested 3 (even though he's not afraid to shoot it), he passes it up, and makes the entry dish to Nikola Jokic for the higher quality shot and the layup. #Nuggets

Despite Spencer Jones missing his FTs here, I think this is a good way to find a niche for him on offense, by playing him in the dunker spot. Obviously his shot isn't dropping, so putting him near the rim could at least open up some easier opportunities.
