Lions are central to the national identities of both Singapore (“Lion City”) and Sierra Leone (“Lion Mountains”). They symbolise courage and strength and remind us that even small states can stand tall and make a difference.

Ghana has a rich history and it was the first sub-Saharan African country to gain independence in 1957. It is a regional hub and international trade is a key component of its economy. Singapore and Ghana are expanding our cooperation, particularly in the green economy.
