EZ1 is 8 years old today O_O That time has flown by! Here's a shot of a new area in c4_1.

Just wanted to give folks a quick update - things are still moving with EZ1 VR, just a little slow this month as it's the busiest month of the year for me with IRL stuff. We are working on fixing bugs and finalising line drafts prior to recording.

EZ2 is 2 years old today! 🎂🎉 We'll be publishing a small article on Steam later on today - or it may arrive tomorrow. Just a quick lil thing as we're super busy right now. A larger update with media for EZ1 will be coming later on in the year.

Here's some quick and dirty EZ1 VR / Mega Update progress news to catch you up (thread)

EZ1 vorts will now behave like EZ2 vorts. They can dispel and use their homing charge attacks. Their damage has also been tweaked for EZ1's context, to make things fairer for the player. Much needed changes that have a good, noticeable effect on gameplay!

A single simple spooky screenshot today, as work continues in EZ1's massive update. Something new happens in this map which we hope will prompt Bad Cop to head for Pillar 10. Won't spoil it 🤓

My latest prototype / thing. Yet another idea I spent a few days on last week. Fly around, shoot stuff, collect scrap. Weapon system framework is designed so that the game could generate random weapons with random effects on the fly. It's fun.

No comparison this time; just some new shots. Darkness and zombies. Now with over-sized puddles.

EZ1 Update Comparison #4 - Before and after - Still WIP but now, Pillar 10 is set as the focal point for this road. These external maps now feature a new skybox with a moving cloud layer. Further contrast tweaks to come. There's a new little area off the beaten track in this map.

EZ1 Update Comparison #3 - Hopping all the way over to chapter 3. Improved spooky zombie subway. Lots of improvements being made here right now!

EZ1 Update Comparison #2 - An area that needed serious work. The old brushes here with the mis-aligned roof and the lack of variation with materials has bugged me forever! Much better now and using Pillar 10 as a focal point as a bonus.

EZ1 Update Comparison #1 - I gave the train tunnel a massive visual overhaul. All maps are getting this treatment, applying lessons learned from EZ2.

This is the entirety of EZ1's player path from the start of c1_1 to the end of c2_1. It's kind of interesting to see it from this perspective.

So, where Breadman been at? Well here's a very quick update. I've been unwell is where. Super unwell. It's going to be a while before I'm back in the saddle. I've been working on prototypes in the interim as they are easier on me. I'll show them off at some point. For now I'm taking thing slow.
