The new CPU is fine, but the RAM is not good enough either I've found out. So my options are to spend $400 on RAM, return everything having wasted countless time and money, or not have a PC until 2027 or 2028 when RAM may normalize in price. You can't make this crap up. If God is real, they hate me.

Solved the motherboard problem, now I find out my PSU cannot provide enough "good power" despite total wattage being fine because it's an older ATX and lacks a second 8-pin connector for the CPU for power stability.

They pulled back on this and pretended this was always going to be the case. This means nothing for the future. They pushed the envelope forward with this. The mechanism now exists and it's being normalized. This will eventually move from one-time to periodic to stricter enforcement altogether.

PlayStation updated their terms of service and I happened to read what was updated and it's shady as fuck. They're basically forcing you to sign a binding arbitration agreement and class action waiver to use your account and their services.

I love tech and hate it at the same time. I spent 11 hours building a PC just to find out the motherboard, supposedly compatible with my CPU, actually needs a BIOS update. The problem? I can’t access the BIOS without a compatible CPU, and I can’t make the CPU compatible without accessing the BIOS.

I’ve been working on another piece for a while, going through different concepts. The idea stems from one word: Isolation. That’s what I want the work to embody, feel, and communicate. I’m struggling to capture it in a way I’m satisfied with. Sharing so you know I’m working on something.

Crimson Desert is the exact type of game that critics hate and hardcore gamers love. Calling it now, this is going to be seen as a cult classic in a decade. It's got that energy to it clunky, janky, and versatile. It's a gamer's game.
