Mum and dad’s 55th anniversary today. Seems like a lifetime ago we did this. So much has changed. This is their first anniversary apart due to dad being in care. Dementia is a cruel cruel thing.

Some days I paint for hours and I hate what comes out. Not every day is a good painting day, and that’s okay.

Spent time with dad this morning while he wept and talked about killing himself. Issues at work. Fibro is kicking my ass and I can’t remember when I last slept through the night. Everything’s a bit much tbh. Tramadol and bed. Don’t wake me unless you have biscuits and hugs 🖤
