Pitt got a signing day surprise. Tony Forney, a three-star DB from Georgia who was pledged to Missouri flipped his commitment to Pitt on signing day. Forney reportedly had 21 other power-four offers. Nice recruiting pull at the last second by the Pitt staff

Good morning. Today (12/3) is signing day, much earlier than usual. Currently Pitt has 20 commitments in the class of 2026 and the expectation is that all of them will sign at some point today.

I didn't know what to expect out of Justin Holmes when he transferred from Marshall, but he's caught touchdowns in Pitt's two biggest games of the year.

It was pretty obviously a first down on the field. Then the ACC stopped the next play, on what was going to be another big gain for Pitt.

So far in today's game Pitt has been called for: Delay of Game Illegal block below the wait Both of those calls happened on DEFENSE...

Carson Beck has been sacked seven times this season coming into today. Miami's first possession ends on a 15-yard sack by Pitt's Isaiah Neal.

I was given Pitt's senior day list and starting center and notably senior captain Lyndon Cooper is not listed, suggesting there is a possibility he returns to the program for a third season.

How it looks on paper

Panthers doing well on the glass with a 15-11 edge thus far. Ohio State is just 6-18 from the floor with four turnovers. Pitt is doing good work on defense The scary thing is, Ohio State can probably bang like 5-6 three-pointers in a row at any point in this game.

Based off the first 10 minutes, it doesn't seem like the type of game Damarco Minor can take a break. Panthers basically did not get one good look when he was on the bench.

I don't know if this will last for 40 minutes, but that was probably the best 4 minutes I watched Pitt play this season.

I did not spot Brandin Cummings for the early portion of warmups. He has missed two of Pitt's first seven games with an injury.

Wonder if they'll turn down the music at the Pete, I'm trying to watch the UGA/GT game.
