Fifteen years ago today, HP acquired Palm for $1.2 billion. They had big plans for the technology. It flopped really badly but the tech did get repurposed and still hides in plain sight today.

Received the Color Classic I posted about two weeks ago, got it unboxed, thankfully it made it safely from the Pacific Northwest. After a visual inspection inside, I have posted a video of first boot. Let’s see how it is doing!

Check out my contribution today to

I received a new Mac which I unboxed and inspected and tested? Does it boot, am I excited, is it full of broken Splindler plastic? No, sort of, of course!

Today’s
#MARCHintosh
purchase, hopefully it arrives before it is over. This is the last of the compact Mac form factors to add to my collection. May the luck of the Irish be upon this machine as it travels across the continent.

Congrats to the Raspberry Pi foundation on the release of the Pico 2 W (Wi-Fi)!
#BlueSCSI
already runs on the Pico 2- and I just ordered 5 to test and validate WiFi works on these new boards. Don't rush out and get a Pico2W for your BlueSCSI - not much to gain yet - but stay tuned!

Had some me time this evening while watching
@davesvinappletech.bsky.social
stream to build some new tech for my Apple IIe. Built several of these A2Pico cards based on Ralle Palaveev’s v2.7 design, but with some adjustments I made to reduce component costs with parts I already have in stock.
