I just remembered that Thanksgiving is almost here. I’m very exited for all of the madness that will be happening around the dinner table weeks after the election.

I’m still trying to find people to follow but my moral dilemma is do I want to follow the same kind of accounts from the twitter “best practices” of follow every body or do I find a group here?

What if people used Bluesky the way we should have been using social media this whole time? Just having conversations without links and rage bait?

I’m an opinion journalist for USA TODAY and Gannett, which means I can actually have and express an opinion. The question is do I do that here and just sort of work out ideas I have for my own columns and those of my writers? The potential is vast.

I don’t know yet what the vibes on my profile here will be but I’m glad to be done using twitter. So hopefully Blue Sky can be a thing.
