Yup, still obsessive over post-The Gathering Testament. The death metal edge just fits so well and puts them so far and above so many other thrash band (imo). I will never get enough of Deathtament.

RIP GosT An incredible artist, respected across numerous communities and genres. Such a shame to lose such a talent.

Attempted to get into Mortician but when the first song is 5 minutes, and nearly 3 minutes are a movie clip...then a 3 minute song where over a minute is another movie clip? Shit is boring. Look, not even industrial is that bad with sampling movies.

I love that, of all the genres, thrash metal breeds a fierce loyalty of fans for their bands, you find "your band" and no one can dissuade you from them being the best. Anyway, Testament is my fucking lifeblood. We're binging them tonight.

As if it wasn't exhausting enough to check if bands were sketch, now having to check if they use AI on top of it just... Found a band that sounded great. Japanese metal, sick. Start looking into them and first red flag is the project is based in Germany. Weird but not the weirdest thing ever.

The build up and then drop into the solos im Black Dahlia's "Into the Everblack" is absolute peak. So beautifully executed. Fucking love this album and this song.

After almost 24 hours, I gotta say: "Skin the Living" is still my favorite Jungle Rot album. But I do enjoy their discography overall.

My last 3 albums are my best work to date. They are expressive, dark, heavy, moody, and intense. They have been described as "industrial woe" and it's so fitting. There are deep emotions and feelings, and all done without voice. I am a master of soundscape.
