Happy National Lighthouse Day. Lighthouses are wondrous things — beautiful, yet incredibly useful. We celebrate how these scenic, historic structures comforted travelers throughout the centuries. I am fascinated with lighthouses and have taken pictures of lighthouses on the Pacific Northwest Coast.
