Well, all my vods have borked audio, but at least I have ready to use B-roll if I chop them up.

So I just learned that all of my vods from the past month are unusable since Streamlabs OBS didn't send the audio to the VODs audio channel, which I didn't know was a thing? Friendly reminder to check your audio channels. This was an issue with the DEFAULT settings.

Just GM'd a game of Lancer yesterday, and I made an attempt at doing it theatre of the mind. It was actually pretty successful with fudged distances that operated on the rule of cool. I may have gotten two new players hooked and the theatre of the mind experiment was successful!

At some point in 2018, I had an idea for a comic bubbling in my head for a comic. I was working in a liquor store in a small town, so had massive swathes of silence between customers and a cool ass coworker who was ALSO an artist. We doodled designs when it was quiet. Cosmic Roadtrip was born.

Old Design sheet I made for one of the main trio from Cosmic Roadtrip, Ziggs, a space pirate queen. Drew this back in 2019. She's a disgraced fleet admiral turned absolute menace to society. She's also genetically modified to be the perfect warrior, to her detriment.

Okay, finished a lot of the setup for the first practice model ins CSP. Now I just need to import it into Live2d and spend an unhealthy amount of time setting up the deformer hierarchies.

If you really think about it, the Metal Gear series is a mecha series where you desperately try to prevent the plot from turning into a mecha series. That would be like if Snake kept blowing up the original Mobile Suit prototypes before Gundam started and that's your ENTIRE SERIES. I love it!

I think I just found my new favorite line of minis! Picked up a Heavy Gear Blitz starter box to have mech pieces to kitbash into little Everest Frames for Lancer!

I like to imagine the GMS everest is the massed produced gundam/zaku units. Maybe there's some insane set of long forgotten prototypes that have some insane core powers out there that couldn't be reproduced on the grand scale. I have SO many plot hooks for Lancer bubbling in my head.

Honestly at this stage I might just end up being a Lancer vtuber, lore and all. I'm already wanting to sculpt modular frames to 3d print and everything.

So I finally made it to the GM material in the Lancer core rulebook and words cannot BEGIN to describe how happy I was when I found the planet generation tables. I'm home!
