If possible, I always try to see films at the Alamo in Manhattan. It's such a better experience than regular theaters like Regal or AMC. Quiet, respectful guests. Yummy food. Beer or mixed drinks if the mood strikes me. Never had a bad experience there.

In my High Fantasy WIP, Forbidden Chorus, the main character Divolka keeps a harmonica with her. She never learned how to play it for real, just wrapped it in runes, enchanting it to play perfectly when someone acts like they're playing it. #Writingprompts #WIP #Writingcommunity

Way too much. She overshares constantly in her narration, and has a hard time not wearing her emotions on her sleeve. Hailey definitely goes through a major arc and matures as the book goes on. Her usual overreliance on humor dissipates. She gets mellow, a bit somber. #Writesky #Writingprompts

Hailey is tasked with finding and becoming heir to a forbidden power, able to reshape the world, even grant wishes. An old God banished to her world, forced to live as a human, sees this as his ticket back to his true body. Hailey knows if he gets this power, reality will never be the same again.
