Rider ive been replaying shadow 05 bc i got the shadow reloaded mod to work, and in the ending where Shadow beats the shit out of Sonic, he doesn't even kill him. he just beats him up, and Sonic smiles and takes it as a challenge and sonic asks what hes gonna do now and shadow doesnt even hurt him

His voice breaks. Cars honk outside. Someone notices them and tries to approach. She gets her wish-- but not in the way she'd like. He grabs her gently at first and then the bag of clothes - and takes off at the speed of sound with her hoisted over his shoulder.

Sonic smiles at him. mentally filing the bandages away for later. "It's been peaceful for once." he starts, cleaning up the things that fell alongside him, "My friends are on their own adventures.. and Im taking a chance to rest." He offers Shadow a sprig of lavender.

He takes his hand, albeit a bit more gently, and shakes it. "Ive had a lot of fun meeting all sorts of people!! But be careful, theres some nasty people out there too!!"

"Hey!!" He waves from the tree he'd been napping in before jumping off and landing perfectly in front of this other him. "You must be new!" He adjusts one of his compression sleeves. "I am you, and you're me. Portals in and to other worlds have been opening; my brother calls them crossworlds!"

Sonic's eyes widen. His tail wags almost incessantly as he happily takes Shadow's hand up. "Oh!!!" He smiles warmly. A laugh escapes him. "I remember you-- I was wondering if you were doing any better... You were in a pretty rough state before.."

"But I wanted to!" He sits down across from Nine and grabs a non-mint cookie. happily taking a bite.

He knows shes taking it easy on him. (He appreciates it more than anything.) He smiles at her. tosses an abandoned yellow scarf at her face. teasing her in his own right. (trying to take control of his own emotions before he cried.)
