My old copy of Blood Bowl arrived from the UK yesterday, so I had to give it an outing. A 90 minute game of Dwarves Vs Skaven. The game ended with a Skaven victory 2-1. The rules came back really easily. I will definitely be playing more games of this.

My third Blood Bowl team, the Barak Varr Buccaneers, is finished. I would like to add a death roller but the price on eBay is a little more than I am willing to pay. Still these Alan Perry sculpts from 1988 are great.

I was in the mood for a bit of Blood Blood, so I broke out 1st edition. 1st ed has more in common with 2nd ed WFB than later editions of Blood Bowl, which made it easy for me to grasp. The game was Half Orcs vs Dwarves. The Dwarves won by easily.

I was hoping to finish my dwarf Blood Bowl team this week, but I have been struck down by the lurgy. It was probably my own fault for posting a picture of Father Nurgle. Still I have finished four of them.

Here is my second completed Blood Bowl team. The Morien Storm Warriors a 2nd edition Dark elf team sculpted by Michael Perry. I have added a couple of daemonettes to act as witch elves in the newest version of the game.

I actually managed to get two wargames played against another person today. The first game was Burrows and Badgers, and the second game was Brethren. A nice way to spend the day.

This week I painted a group of old Citadel Norse for a game of Brethren on Sunday.

In July, I focused my painting on a Blood Bowl Skaven team that I bought in the late 80s. This is the first time that they have had paint on them.

Hopefully, I am back to painting a bit more regularly. I managed to finish two more 15mm strongholds. And I have made a start on a Skaven Bloodbowl team. I bought this team pack when they first came out and this is the first time that they have had paint on them.

It has been a bit of a slow painting month, but I have finished two more figures. A pre- slotta fire elemental and a 15mm Chimera.

My first two things finished in June. Two 15mm strongholds for Hordes of the Things. I may need to get a desert mat now.

I am all set up for a solo game tomorrow. The forces of Argos are defending the city from Pict raiders.

A bit more painting finished this month. The last of my 15mm cavemen and a couple of 40mm pigs. They will be used as objective markers for some Napoleonic skirmish games.

My first few pieces finished in April some 15mm cavemen types. The archers were impossible to photo with both in focus.

I managed to get a few more toy soldiers finished in March. These Copplestone casting Picts are quite enjoyable to paint.

I kickstarted Forager back in 2017 and this was my first game. They are a cracking set of skirmish rules.

I have been taking a rest from painting and playing a few boardgames. Tonight was Mage Knight probably the best solo game out there, in my opinion. Neither Goldyx nor Arythea were able to obtain all of the pieces of the lost relics. Arythea did better as she got one piece.

My last batch of figures for February, a pack of 15mm wolves. February was another productive painting month, 59 figures and 2 pieces of scatter terrain finished.

The final group for my second corporate security force is finished. I am really happy with how the whole force looks together.

Another group of corporate forces are finished. This group is made up of Brigade Model`s penal troopers led my a GZG armed civilian. I have also finished my first group of power armoured troops. I have decided to keep the paint job more utilitarian as benefits a military force.

I am still chiselling away at my corporate security.

I finished up a couple of solar arrays.

The last figures for January, which takes me up to 54 finished for the month. Not bad if I say so myself.

January has been a productive month so far 43 infantry painted. Here are the latest two groups.

A bitter sweet moment, I have finished the last of the Crusties I need. I have really enjoyed painting them. I have also finished the first piece of transportation for the TMS security forces.

The second half of Freetrader crew are complete and a random Alternative Armies Starfighter crew member.

The project continues. Some alien civilians for scenario objectives and as scatter terrain, and my second hovervan.

My first completed figures of 2025. My painting tally for 2024 Figures - 185 Terrain - 23 Not that different from last year, but I have been more focused, so both my 20mm Napoleonic project and 15mm SCI-FI have come along nicely.

My final group of security officers for the TMS are ready for the table. I may add more to the force in the future.

The holiday has allowed me to continue with my 15mm Sci-Fi. Another group of corporate security are finished.

Two groups of security troopers for the Turner's Mining Syndicate finished. These are some of the older Hammer's Slammers miniatures from GZG.

The alien forces are on the home stretch. Here are some more crusty support weapons. A Phalon marine contingent, and some more of the command section finished.

Three more groups of my GZG aliens finished. I am pretty close to the end of them.

The first group of support weapons for my crusties is complete. I have kept them as individual pieces, so I can also use the guns as remote weapons.

These four beauties arrived in the post today. I am pretty excited to read them.
