I feel like minecraft's colour palette has gotten duller over the years. Everything's desaturated, there's less contrast, the world feels more samey in general. Left pic is 1.12.2, right is Beta 1.7.3

I've been playing Minecraft Beta 1.7.3 lately and beta is way creepier than modern minecraft. Every mob has the same walking sound, you can't tell if a sheep or a creeper is walking up behind you and it makes me permanently paranoid whenever I play. I love the unintentional horror game notch made.

Bloody 'Ell, there's been a kid getting pissy at me the past few days because he keeps messing up installing a mod I made. I gave him a step by step tutorial video day 1 and he still managed to mess things up and somehow fuck up his 7zip install to put all subfolder files in the same folder.
