I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Battletech Fox Tales by Bryan Young. I have been reading a lot of Star Wars lately and quite a few with Sith as main characters so it was so nice to read a different franchise with a very upbeat and positive almost chirpy character.

The Capellan Confederation are the bad guys of #BattleTech because of their totalitarian nature, their frequent government purges, their leaders going mad more than usual, and citizenship is never guaranteed. That, and they’ll stab you in the back to get ahead in the Inner Sphere.

The Federated Suns are the Bad Guys of #BattleTech. Why? 1.5 succession wars started, that’s why (war of 39 was only half of a war). Hanse Davion and his Crime Family beats up on Capellans, Taurians, Periphery Kingdoms, and anyone else he views as lesser. Then gets his butt kicked by a REAL house.

The Lyran Commonwealth are the bad guys of #BattleTech because they have the best governing body and generals that money can buy. Social Generals are so common here that they put Canopus to shame. And that’s before we get into the gross incompetence and corruption that their military command has.

The Draconis Combine are the bad guys of #BattleTech because Imperial Shogunate Space Japan has war crimes aplenty. Start two interstellar wars? Check. Massacre entire worlds? Check. Oh, and don’t fail the Coordinator lest you lose your head… literally. 😜
