Our cat room is one of our most popular activities! Luna Cat Cafe will bring in some of their wonderful cats, which you can hang out and play with all day. Cats--the natural de-stressor for today's stressful world! They'll be in room 137 all day.

Games! We have multiple kinds of games at the CON. Jonathan Trier is demoing a tabletop game called "For the Realm" and you can help playtest it! He'll be at the demo tables in room 228 from 11-12:30 and in the hallway outside of Goldstein from 3:00-5:00. It's wild, try it out.

Cathy G. Johnson will join Nick Sousanis on their zoom panel! Cathy G. Johnson (she/they) is an award-winning cartoonist, printmaker, and educator from Providence, Rhode Island, on occupied Wampanoag and Narragansett land.

We've got an unusual and cool workshop at the con this year, on creating your own Conlang. A Conlang is a constructed language, like Klingon. It's being run by three folks from SU who specialize in languages and fan works: Chris Green, Kiley Jolicoeur, and Jordan Chiantelli-Mosebach.

We excited to work with our friends at the Special Collections Research Center at Bird Library. This year they're putting together a mini-show of geek culture artifacts from their collections, which will be on display next to the cafe on the first floor of Bird.

In addition to our normal cosplay contest, we're having a Cosplay DANCE Contest this year! Anyone can get up on stage in costume. We'll play 3 songs that have some connection to pop culture, then hand out some awards! No planning needed, just dance your heart out and have fun.

One of our fun new features this year is "Show Off Your Collection." They'll all be there throughout the CON so you can check out their stuff and talk with them about their collections. These people are all faculty, SU staff, or artists, so they've some interesting viewpoints on what they like!
