I streamed MGS1 today and had a blast until Gray Fox whooped my ass 🙇‍♂️

After doing a pretty much pointless look into the updated textures in MGS3 High resolution mode I'm 99% the textures are [bad word] upscaled. Not sure it matters much or if I would prefer to play the game with the original textures or not

MGS4 situation is interesting too since the intended heavy bloom seems to be nerfed big time? I'm interested in seeing how this works out but I hope the intended look of the game isn't compromised as it is in the case of many remasters youtu.be/JWrWQjKPuO0?...

The update for the MGS Collection vol 1 is a curious case since the updated resolution seems to absolutely butcher the appeal of MGS1 but it seems to enhance MGS3?

I have to say my biggest problem with games nowadays is my own expectations. I try to reason with myself and demand a game that deserves my attention and can give me the experience I yearn. One I might have experienced in my youth. But the problem with that mind set is that games are best enjoyed-

I made minimalistic Metroid pixelart! Atleast in terms of pixelcount..? 😆 It's fun to play around with limited ways to express things. You can kinda guess and experiment on how to allude to features and the design of the character - And also worry about if others interpret it the same as you

Thinking about the possibility of doing Flipnote inspired stuff in Pixquare 🤔 I could have more freedom with canvas size, colors, tools etc but the goal would be to make stuff that appears very similar to what can be achieved on Flipnote Studio... Does this make any sense? 🤷

It feels surreal to hold a brand spanking new gaming magazine on my hands with Viewtiful Joe art that I made! Really happy about this opportunity and everyone did great work on the magazine! Layout, writing and design all feel premium! Glad to be a part of this!
